PostSubject: how to calculate planetary hours   Tue Oct 02, 2012 4:51 am

different planets rules different hour of the day and night. this means you will get 2 chart of planetary hours(daylight planetary hours and nighttime planetary hours). here the steps you need to follow to calculate the planetary hour.

like being mentioned before, knowing the right time when sunset and sunrise occur in your place is the very first yet important thing to do. different place have different hour of days and nights(long daylight, short nighttime, etc) which resulted different time for the sunset and sunrise.

1.get right time for sunrise and sunset, search from the newspaper or watch the weather reports and yes, take note on what days you pick for calculating the planetary hours. for example you got 5.15am for sunrise and 5.15pm for sunset.

2.convert sunset time into military time. For example, 5:15 pm becomes 17:15(24 hours time system application).

3.convert the hours time into minutes. if 1 hour is 60minutes, then multiplying the hour by 60. For example of the sunrise time: 5:15 am will becomes 5h X 60minutes+15minutes=315minutes, now same thing to do for sunset which is 17.15pm.

4.Determine the hours of daylight by subtracting the sunset minutes from the sunrise minutes.

5.Determine the length of each planetary hour by dividing the result by 12.

6.consult the planetary charts below to see which planets of first hour belong to, second and so on. finally, write out the times of each planetary hours.
